Nordic Ware's Extra Large Roaster inlcudes a notstick rack which allows fat to drip away and collect in the pan. The roaster has PFOA-free nonstick coating and is oven safe up to 400 degrees F. Made from Almunized steel it can be used on gas, electic and ceramic stovetops. It is also compatible with inudction stoves. It is made in the USA with an imported component, black. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash in warm, soapy water. Before each cooking use, season pan with unsalted vegetable shortening. For gas or electric stovetop use, always use moderate heat. Overheating will result in the loss of nonstick performance, as well as discoloration of the pan. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces. Nylon or silicone utensils are recommended.
